Bryan A. Becker

Bryan joined The Hunter Group LLC in 2009 following a long, notable career in public accounting and executive search.

Following his graduation from the University of Michigan – Dearborn, Bryan joined Ernst & Young and rose through the ranks to assurance partner, where he managed a variety of client industries and held many leadership roles within the firm. Bryan directed the middle market and insurance industry practices for E&Y’s Eastern Michigan offices. He also co-authored the Ernst & Young annual accounting Trends and Techniques publication for the insurance industry and directed the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program in Michigan for over 15 years. Upon retiring from Ernst & Young, Bryan joined the executive search profession, building on the executive placement skills he gained from placing executive talent with clients and developing and mentoring staff.

Bryan was a founding member for the Detroit chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is active at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, where he is a two-time recipient of the campus’ Alumni of the Year award. Bryan is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
